​I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada and I am a second generation British settler.

​

On the day I was born my mother could hear the chickens clucking in Kensington Market, the neighbourhood where I now live with my daughter.

​

I did my under-graduate degree at the University of Waterloo in English Literature with a minor in Drama.

​

Then I drove cab in Toronto for a year to save money to finance a year long post graduate degree at The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

​

I have worked as an actor, writer and director.

 

I am also on the Board of Directors of the Kensington Market Historical Society.
